Our Portuguese department has a wealth of experience in designing Speakwell Portuguese courses for all levels, ages and profiles.
Portuguese isn’t the easiest of languages to learn. However, we use a very communicative methodology which really does work. You will be taught to speak and understand Portuguese at the same time as you learn the important grammar and vocabulary.
Who are our courses for?
People resident in Portugal
Our students range from general managers of multinational companies to teachers to business people and their families working in Portugal on a short or medium-term basis. Some of our students have relocated to Portugal after retirement and wish to learn the language.
Non-residents
Our students are from different countries. They may wish to combine a holiday in Portugal with a Portuguese course, or may want to do an intensive course to prepare for a business placement in Portugal or another Portuguese-speaking country. Alternatively, we offer face-to-face courses via Skype and an online course at elementary level: ‘Português Online Para Estrangeiros’ (POPE).
Courses
We offer small group and individual courses with flexible timetables to suit your needs. We design our courses especially for you. Whether you need ‘Survival Portuguese’, ‘Portuguese for Business’ or to prepare for an exam, we adapt the course length to suit your needs and situation. Our Portuguese teachers have a lot of experience in adapting their teaching methodology to the specific linguistic needs of different nationalities.
Residential Courses
We can arrange accommodation of various types, ranging from a hotel to host family, in both the Lisbon and Porto areas, for the duration of your course.
